Exterior Installation
|
|
A technician installs a drop fiber cable from the power pole or underground connection point to your home or business. No appointment is needed for this step.

Drop Fiber Cable
A fiber cable is run from the nearest power pole (aerial) or from an underground connection point directly to your location.

NID Installation
A Network Interface Device (NID) is mounted on the exterior of your home or business, near the power meter.

Interior Setup
|
|
Once Step 1 is complete, Premier Broadband will contact you to schedule your appointment. A technician will run fiber inside to a Wall Plate, then connect a jumper cable to your Fiber Gateway for internet and WiFi. Installation generally takes 1–2 hours.
